In addition to the first victory over the Sun Devils, the win marked the program's 100th victory. In the first overtime, neither team was able to score a goal sending the game into the second overtime. NOTES:The Wildcats were able to achieve many firsts with a win over in-state rival ASU. In addition to the programs 100th career and first over the Sun Devils, the Wildcats broke the programs record of most overtime wins in a season with three.
