This happened to me with a car a long time ago; my 1965 Mustang's positive battery lead got worn all the way through, and was shorting against one of the shock absorber towers. The Vespa VBC model was made from 1965 – 1979 and has a rounded front headlight with larger flat edges. Vespa 150 VBC Super scooters have newer lines and older wheels - VBC Super is almost identical to VLB Sprints except with a rounded headlight and smaller 8-inch wheels. Vespa Super 150 is a successor to the Vespa 125 and 150 VNA/VBB models. The Vespa 'Super' continued to be built with the same engine as it was already known from the VBB2, but with a new external ignition coil. Vespa Super body is basically a shrunken version of Vespa Sprint.
