The new Vespa 946 Emporio Armani was developed by Giorgio Armani and Piaggio to celebrate two of the most recognized symbols of style and Italian creativity. To mark the 40th anniversary of the Giorgio Armani’s company and the 130th of the Piaggio Group, Emporio Armani has designed a special version of Vespa called ‘Vespa 946‘. Vespa 946 Emporio Armani is chic and has clean lines. The Vespa 946 is a limeted and numbered edition. The price is still unknown but is expected that Vespa 946 Emporio Armani will cost 13,000 euros without accessories.
One of which happens to be this, the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani Edition. The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani Edition was created and released last year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of iconic Italian fashion powerhouse Giorgio Armani and the 130th anniversary of Vespa’s parent company Piaggio. Styling cues aside, the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani Edition also boasts some of the brand’s most advanced mechanicals and tech underneath. And to top things off, Vespa has placed the 946 Emporio Armani edition on a limited production run. Each unit is individually numbered with a laser-engraved serial just behind the signature Armani emblem on the side.
The body looks like they've get liquid cooling in the workd. They probably made 946, and then kept making them, A lot of companies will do limited runs for a specific market, and then take the ones that don't sell in a particular market, and sell them in another. So if they made 946 for France, Germany, Italy, England, the US, Canada, they can move units from an underperforming market to one that is hot. The odds are they smartened up and didn't make a bunch of them until they had some sold. Personally I think it's a great bike, and I would love to own one with a 250 cc lq engine in it.
