I suspect the new ring design needs A LOT more time to break-in and stop the oil consumption. to all you HPE owners, the oil consumption issue is real, engines are destroying themselves so make sure you keep your eye on the level until the oil control ring is broken in. Here in the Uk we really don't see large oil consumption issues with these motors. In my riding groups we have several HPE's and non of them have oil issues. For most folks their oil consumption will settle to normal.

I had deferred a scooter as Rhonda had that spot in the garage. 2020 vs 2019: The 2019 is beautiful red, many voted for a special edition white 2020 with blue trim all dressed up and called the "Yacht Club". What I did feel was the 2020 scooter hitting the wall and absolutely shutting down at 75 mph. The new Vespa will get a lot of attention, but I rode the R1200R last week and I still love it.

As the embodiment of “Vespa’s Racing Soul” the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 brings some of Vespa’s racing heritage to the scooter lineup. You read correctly, Vespa’s racing heritage. The iconic Italian brand pays homage to the model that was produced for the Varese International Six Day race in 1951. The black number plate on the side and front are accented by other black details throughout the machine. This model differs from the other lineup offerings with its low headlight position, smoked windshield, and “single seater” seat (also approved for a passenger, Vespa says).
