Piaggio is now celebrating the 75th anniversary of Vespa. Vespa 140th of PIaggio available for four days onlyPiaggio is celebrating its 140th birthday with the release of a special edition Vespa that may prove to be the one of its most exclusive models ever. Based on the Vespa GTV, the Vespa 140th of Piaggio is limited to a maximum of 140 units, and will only be available for sale for four days, and only in select markets (those of us in North America are unfortunately out of luck). The Vespa 140th of Piaggio is only available only from April 18 to 21, coinciding with the Vespa World Days 2024 Rally, either at the event itself or online at Vespa. The special edition model comes in Piaggio's signature colors: blue and light blue on a white body. Completing the design are blue wheel with light blue inserts, the Vespa monogram logo and black finishes on the edges of the bodywork, mirrors, exhaust, and fold-away passenger footpegs.

To celebrate the Vespa’s 75th anniversary as a true citizen of the world, a new special series, Vespa 75th, has been created for the Vespa Primavera (in 50 and 150cc models) and the Vespa GTS (300cc). The Vespa 75th body, as always in all-steel, is presented in “Giallo 75th,” an original metallic yellow. The rear luggage rack, another distinctive feature of the Vespa 75th, is also chrome-plated: it houses a round bag whose shape replicates the typical spare wheel holder. In technology terms, the Vespa 75th represents the top of the Vespa range: the models of this anniversary version (with 150cc/300cc engine) are equipped with a 4.3” TFT color display, while the fully digital instrument cluster makes the best possible use of the capabilities of the Vespa MIA smartphone connectivity system.
