Both Dot and Peter were well known in the scooter world through their associations with the Thames Valley Vespa Club and the Vespa Club of Great Britain . They were very successful in their scooter sport winning over 200 trophies between them. Dot won the title "Queen of the Isle of Man " on two occasions riding Piaggio machines. Neville and Tina both competed in Schoolboy Motorcross riding Kawasaki MX machines. They started at the age of 6 and were both very successful and collected almost as many trophies as their parents.
