It's this duality that makes the limited-edition Vespa Sei Giorni II especially appealing. This engine was introduced back in 2018 as the most potent Vespa engine ever, thanks to its 23 horsepower. As a very large rider (I'm 6 feet, 4 inches tall), the Sei Giorni is surprisingly comfortable and shockingly quick. The Vespa Sei Giorni II nicely bridges the gap between motorcycles and scooters. The Sei Giorni is a fantastic machine, and it's got me seriously considering a Vespa as my next two-wheeled purchase.

Our tester, the limited edition Sel Giorni, MSRP $7,699, was built as an homage to Vespa's original 1951 Sport Sei Giomi, and it's the most powerful and advanced Vespa to date. This particular scooter is also an homage to the original Sel Giorni built in 1951 for the Sel Giorni Internazionale regularity rally – which scooted away with nine gold medals despite being up against other machines seen as more worthy.
