The 2012 MY Vespa LXV 300 Vie della Moda has been created, as the name suggests, to further strengthen between Vespa scooters and the fashion world, which have been closely linked for over 60 years. It comes in an unique, "Marrone Etna" color scheme, as well as chromed embellishments throughout the machine, and a chromed luggage rack. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 278cc, single cylinder Quasar engine, paired to a continuous variable transmission, and can produce 22 horsepower and 22 Nm of torque.

Originally made for the Vespa LXV, but will also fit Vespa S, LX and ET. Changing this seat out on any Vespa S, LX, LXV, or ET is very easy. Your man-jokes have been duly noted :)You will need to re-use your old lock cylinder and lock clip from your old seat. There is a little C-shaped wire clip under the seat holding in your existing lock cylinder. Pull that clip out to release the old lock cylinder from the old seat, slide the lock cylinder into the new seat, and replace the wire clip.

DrivetrainAs the cleverly ingenious name suggests, the LXV runs a 150 cc thumper, and the 62.6 mm bore and 48.6 mm stroke measurements reveal an oversquare, short-stroke motor. At 112 cc, the Compagno mill surrenders a few cubes to the 150 cc LXV, and necessarily a bit of power as well. The power difference is proportional to the displacement difference which tells me that Vespa isn't bothering to push the envelope with its little 150.
