It is like riding in a parade everyday on my way to work...lots of waving and smiling!! The pink color was done in connection with a breast cancer awareness campaign. They did partner with several breast cancer organizations to give away a few of the pink Vespas, most were 50's I think, but a few might have been 150's though. I've heard that Vespa also sold a few limited edition pink Vespas back in the 70's too, but I'm not sure which models. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with the pink Vespas, there's certainly a place for them.
The scooter overheats when I start it up from cold and immediately but slowly and steadily drive away without ragging the bike at all. Although some are used in other scooters - not all together as one bike till this one.
