Post by Jimmy D onYep - I use a 7 for commuting around London, stop/start traffic etc. Tried an 8 and got lots of soot etc on plug so I guess it wasn't burning off properly. If you're doing 20 miles along country roads with little stopping and starting, an 8 would be good.

Hi guys, when I have any doubts about the oil I ask here and I'm more sure.My brother recovered a PIAGGIO VESPA PK 125 S AUTOMATICA. Unfortunately, he does not have the workshop manual and he asked me for help to change the oil on the final drive (the one on the side of the rear wheel).I removed about half a liter of oil from the drain plug. Obviously it's brown, it stinks.I wanted to be sure, the oil that should fit is Dexron II?The only manual I found is this:Because in another Vespa (not automatic) it was written to put an SAE30 oil. Is it plausible that the version with automatic transmission uses a different oil?Do you have any way to check if what I have found is correct?
