Jim Lomas, himself active as a racer in the 60s, began in 1979 to produce performance orientated expansion chamber exhaust systems for two stroke motors. The other exhaust in this range, the SIP EVO Racing exhaust is almost identical to the SIP Performance exhaust in construction, differing only in that the EVO is constructed using normal (non stainless) steel and powder coated. The SIP Performance NT represents the version with the longer downpipe manifold section. The SIP Performance expansion chamber system is suited for the more milder road going scooters and also maximum power tuning projects. The SIP Performance impressed us with it´s elasticity, it really stomps on it!

The (more) flexible spring connections between the exhaust manifold, expansion chamber and silencer unit help to absorb unwanted knocks and consequent damage to the exhaust system. The impressively peaky performance that the “ RZ Mark One ” offers, demands a lot of control and rider involvement. With 200cc cylindered motor set ups a lager jetting is mandatory, we recommend a reinforced clutch and a racing/ long stroke crankshaft.

Seri I pada 15-16 Januari 2002, Seri II pada 4-5 Juni 2022, dan Seri III pada 8-9 Oktober 2022. "Kejuaraan akan diikuti sekitar 350 pembalap Vespa yang akan bertanding di tiga kelas, Regular, Profesional, dan Support. Panitia The Brotos Vespa Race Championship 2022 yang hadir antara lain Ketua Muhammad Ali Reza, Sekretaris Rifky Alhabsyi, dan Koordinator Acara Azizir Arfat. "Selain untuk menggairahkan olahraga balap Vespa di Tanah Air, kejuaraan ini juga sebagai apresiasi atas keberhasilan Vespa yang akan memasuki usia ke-76 tahun.
