Hi there, I've seen some really nice handlebar grips on a powerful racing moterbike. They are alluminium 22mm 7/8" in size and look the business, does anyone know if they would fit on a vespa px or does someone know of any really nice racing alluminium grips that do fit the vespa px. Any help would be great cheers! with the 22mm 1's its loads of boiling water an soap an a real struggle to get them on ,with the largers you can wrap tape round your bar til its snug an i then use happy shopper hair spray as a glue . if dead set on ali grips i guess if you find 1's thick enuff you could have them machined out by a local machine shop , henri
Based in Saint Petersburg, Russia’s second-largest city, Butcher Garage is run by three friends: Alex, Mitya and Miha. The crew rely heavily on the German scooter parts specialists SIP Scootershop. In the workshop, we call it ‘the bible’.”SIP and Butcher started talking two years ago about building a custom to showcase the skills of both brands. Butcher Garage grabbed the super popular two-stroke Vespa 150, and proceeded to make it unrecognizable. The rear suspension’s been upgraded with a pair of SIP shocks, run through the middle of the scooter.
Getting the paint scheme right on your street racer is critical as this will define its final look and be costly to change…“This is the Life” PX Vespa street racer uses the colours of the Italian flag perfectly to create a stunning scheme. Having done all the fabrication and dry build to your street racer, the next stage is to get it painted. Though the paint scheme doesn’t make any difference to the performance it does to the looks. Using black as the base colour both silver and gold overlay without any hint of a colour clash. Racing cars past and present are an ideal source of inspiration when it comes to designing a paint scheme.
SPAQ Vespa PX, T5 Racing Style Black SeatThis one-man hump seat gives the Vespa PX a sporty and stylish look. Crafted from black primed sheet steel with quilted leatherette upholstery, the seat is not waterproof-sewn, however it has a rustic design and may require some minor adjustments on certain vehicles. The seat has no lock or locking mechanism, however the ergonomics are improved compared to the original, and drivers over 1.80m can enjoy comfortable knee angles. It's the perfect seat for a daily racer, and a great alternative to the GFK/Carbon seat benches. NOTE: Unpainted article with transport primer.
