Would like to swap my german original SS50 2nd series for an Allstate or Douglas VespaThe SS:1970s model 2nd series without dummytank. Original colour was red, than painted in blue years ago from a preowner. It is possible to remove the blue colour to the original red. What I am searching:-Vespa Allstate (Wideframe model) from model 788.100- 788.104, but also up to model 788.94492. -The british Douglas Vespa.
One of my real passions is to work on old-timer vehicles like bikes and motorcycles. I get to know more and more insights in technical functions, past product design and engineering of these products. Here you can see my Vespa restoration project i did a few years ago. I revised completely everything and edited the whole body to the form of an old an unique SS50 shape. The motor was revised and upgraded to a 133ccm race piston combined with an bigger carburetor.
