Rare VGLA ( Gran Lusso ) model. Original 10" wheel version of a VBA , still with 3 gears like a VBA but geared up to run on 10" wheels. Fork is an extension on the lower part of the stem adapted to take a longer spring in order to accomondate the 10" wheel . All these upgradea are as factory standard from Piaggio, a standard model with the GS upgrade of 10" wheels. This scooter is a non running preject that turns over, it has been dray stored for many years and is in excellent condition in body and engine being completeand solid for a restoration project or to just mechanically overhaul and ride as is.

Our 4 KW electric hub motor has that versatility of still being small enough to stay within the stated moped classification limit and large enough when using the larger 72v battery to easily step up to the next category. None of the running gear including the battery trays need changing for the step up, all equipment in our kits stays the same such is the versatility of our conversion kits.

Speedometer

No matter whether the particular Vespa model had a squared or rounded headlight, such as the VBB, the shell-shaped speedometer adorned all of the Vespa largeframe models from the 1960's. To simplify the choice slightly we link the individual speedometer styles to the Vespa models they were actually issued with as original standard equipment.
