The one on the LHS is bolted on, not much play, and the engine side/RHS one has a little play, but I can't get it to line up down at the bottom. It seems if I put it on without the clip going through that metal gate, it gets closer, but still not 100%. This is if the clip isnt it, it lines up a bit better, but then it's not flush with the frame. This 1968 Vespa VLB Sprint 150 is powered by a modified 177cc two-stroke single paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is equipped with a sidecar. The matching sidecar features a white vinyl seat, a headlight, a running light, a taillight, a covered spare, and a snap-on tonneau cover. The scooter was acquired out of Vietnam by the seller in 2021, and a tune-up was carried out in 2022. The scooter was refinished in two-tone blue and white under previous ownership, and stainless-steel fasteners are employed throughout. The five-digit odometer shows 162 kilometers (~100 miles), approximately 150 of which were ridden by the seller.
Vespa Sprint is the successor GL has the same layout and design is the same as the GL, but updated styling to match other contemporary largeframe Vespa. Initial model, called the Vespa Sprint, were made until 1968. Body on Sprint is an evolution of that in GL are almost identical but the hood and front fenders to more corners on Sprint. On the right side there are two patches that say "Vespa" and "Sprint" in cursive. On the back, there is one emblem located on the bottom of the frame reads "150 Sprint."
