Tak terkecuali artis sekelas Raffi Ahmad, yang pada tanggal 17 Februari 2021 lalu, baru saja menjadi kado spesial sebuah vespa langka yang diberikan oleh sang istri tercintanya, Nagita Slavina. Vespa yang menjadi kado spesial tersebut adalah Vespa VN lansiran 1955, yang disebut-sebut seharga 400 Juta Rupiah. Maklum, dengan harga yang cukup tinggi itu, Vespa ini punya histori tersendiri dan peredarannya yang kini sudah langka. Masuk ke tahun 1957, masih keturunan dari vespa VN, vespa mengeluarkan seri Vespa dengan kode VNA (1-2) yang diproduksi dari 1957-1959.

Vespa 125 (VN1/VN2)The VN is the last Italian model with the headlight on the fender and the last wideframe of the 125 series. The successor of the VM is considered a cheap model, as the 150 cc models are now more important for Piaggio and some - mainly optical - things are slimmed down. But the engine of the VN is the same as the one of the predecessor VM, only the nose of the piston gets a flatter shape to (quote Vespa Tecnica) "avoid the metallic noises". The kick starter and brake pedal are made of cast aluminium and have a waffle pattern on the tread surface, the rubber covers are saved. In 1954 Piaggio introduced the VN type Vespa. Because Paggio‘s main focus shifted to the 150 cc model the Vespa 125 was thought to be the entry level. Of the VN type Vespa 125 almost 125,000 examples were built, which shows, that there was still a strong demand for a 125 cc model. This Vespa 125 originally comes from Southern Tyrol and has recently been restored with great attention to detail and with many rare original parts. Rear Frame Set

Product descriptionRegrettably most vintage Vespa models have some sort of rust damage, especially towards the rear of the frame. Nowadays we have various premium quality sheet-metal frame repair parts available for the Vespa wideframe models produced between 1948 & 1957. They differ mainly in their overall length, or how far the rear frame section extends towards the fuel tank. The range begins for the Vespa 125 V1-15T with its short 180 mm frame, through to the complete rear frame section with a crease allowing direct welding to the footboards. In my personal opinion the frame parts he produces are absolutely peerless in their quality.

Modern Vespa Spark Question

I've got 6 volts coming off of the battery, into the stator, and 6 volts into the external coil. I also get 6 volts off of the spark plug when it is not being turned over. The external coil is new and the stator had spark before the rebuild and wasn't really altered.I used a voltage tester to help isolate the problems.
