There are a lot of you tube videos out there for both engine disassembly and assembly...Scooter Mercato is an excellent source plus Dave and Matt have great prices. Be wary of the attractive prices of asian parts as I have not had much success in fitment. The first owner passed away 35 years ago and his wife finally decided it was time to sell it. The scooter has not been on the road for the past 48 years. It is registering it as an antique with an original 1964 Pennsylvania Motorcycle license plate. PA allows the use of Year of Manufacture license plates for antique vehicles.
Vespa 125 (VNB3-VNB6)Whoever says VNB2T will also say VNB3T. Piaggio did this in 1962 and presented a successor that had not changed under the hood. The brake pedal is the same as on the 150, made of highly polished aluminium with a black brake pedal rubber. With the VNB6T only minor changes are made from 1964. Frame numbers VNB6 by year of manufacture:1964: VNB6T 1001-74551965: VNB6T 7456-354391966: VNB6T 35440-37028Original paint VNB6 (MaxMeyer)

This 1962 Vespa VNB was acquired by the seller’s father in 2004 and was subsequently refurbished with work that included a repaint, rust remediation, remagnetizing the flywheel, and replacement of the engine seals, cruciform, wiring, cables, shocks, springs, and clutch. This VNB is now offered at no reserve with Vespa literature, a shop manual, a Prima bike cover, a Prima helmet with cover, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name. The bodywork was repainted in silver under current ownership and features a vented engine cover on the right as well as a locking saddlebag on the left. Drum brakes are controlled by a hand lever for the front and a foot pedal for the rear. Vespa literature, a shop manual, a Prima bike cover, and a Prima helmet with a cover are included in the sale.
Italian Repro Engine Side Cowl Vespa VNA/VNB/VBA/VBB/Allstate (082906)Premium quality reproduction cowls "Made in Italy" that are far nicer than anything we've seen from Asia (Indonesia, Vietnam, or India). The Vespa restoration craze that has been growing in Italy has created a demand for these replacement cowls, so we finally have a suitable replacement. These were previously only available from Asia sources which were horrendous (often handmade), so we are grateful to have a nice quality option available. These are the best quality you will find anywhere (short of finding a NOS one, good luck with that). They will need final metal prep work, minor body work, and priming before they will be ready to paint.
