Setelah New Aerox 155 Connected dan varian baru NMAX 155 Connected, hari ini Rabu 25 November 2020 secara virtual, PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg merilis satu produk baru lagi yang merupakan produk Generasi 125 mereka yang dinamakan Yamaha Gear 125 dengan harga mulai 16,75 juta Rupiah OTR Jakarta. Yamaha GEAR 125 hadir dengan 3 konsep dasar, sebagai berikut:Pertama, “GENERASI DESAIN BARU”. Dalam mendukung rutinitas harian yang lebih semangat, Yamaha GEAR 125 tersedia dengan dua varian tipe, yaitu S-Version and Standard Version. Konsep baru Yamaha GEAR 125 dijual dengan harga yang terjangkau untuk semua kalangan, untuk tipe S-version dijual seharga Rp 17.350.000 sedangkan tipe Standard dijual seharga Rp 16.750.000, seluruhnya untuk OTR Jakarta. Mendukung pengendara Yamaha GEAR 125 yang aktif serta memiliki rutinitas harian padat, Yamaha juga menyediakan fasilitas service reminder, lokasi dan fasilitas dealer, informasi produk, aktifitas, dan promosi melalui aplikasi My Yamaha App.
Yamaha Gear baru saja diluncurkan ke pasar Indonesia oleh PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) lewat peluncuran virtual. Sekilas tampilan Yamaha Gear mirip dengan Yamaha Mio, tapi jika dilihat lebih dekat motor ini berbeda. Yamaha Gear memiliki panjang x lebar x tinggi: 1.870mm x 685 mm x 1060 mm. Lampu motor Yamaha Gear lebih ramping daripada Mio, selain itu ada lampu sen terpisah yang menyelip di bawah shroud seperti Nmax.
