Piaggio Recalls Some Vespa 2019/2020 ModelsWASHIGTON, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has published a recall from Piaggio for a potentially faulty brake line. The models affected are the 2019 Vespa GTS 300, 2019 Vespa GTV 300, and the 2020 Vespa GTS 300 HPE. According to the company, all 1,328 units produced between October 2018 and September 2019 and sold in the U.S. are affected. The issue was reported by the dealers and investigated by Piaggio that found the problem with factory assembly. Should they have any questions or concerns, owners of the Vespas included in this recall are invited to contact the Piaggio customer service at 1-212-380-4433 to have their VIN verified.
