Every pre 74 (with the script not black letters) that I've checked have all been in line with the one year color. I remember the production being real low like around 5,000 a year until 74when I think the non-Veloce's production was replaced by the Veloce. Although mine is post 74 (1975) my veloce was silver originally.It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they only did a color a year.
Seems like this was caused when engine seizedI got the old bushing off, after some real banging, and installed the new one with ease. The P's are nice but to me the Sprint Veloce comes in at a close second to the Rally for a original daily. But take that with the fact this is my first Vespa build and don't know crap.
