HighCover Explorer May 08, 2014 Yamaha EF2400is Surging IdleMy vintage 2007 EF has the dreaded surging idle. I pulled it apart and cleaned the idle jet, the main jet and the third pointy screw in the carburetor, and the dang thing still surges. Even though I am in DFW, I can't locate a Yamaha service center anywhere near where I live. So, I guess I'll sell it "as-is" and look for another unit, but not a Yamaha due to the lack of service. Only requirement is to run a 13.5k BTU unit in the Texas heat.
